Connecting EasyEcom (OMS)
Consolidate multi-channel sales through EasyEcom: the four credentials, what syncs and when, how sales are counted, and the nightly stock sync.
If EasyEcom is your order management system — your Shopify store and marketplaces all flow through it — connect it so Honey Shelf sees your full multi-channel sales. The EasyEcom connection is currently available on request: email support@honeyshelf.ai and we will enable it for your organisation. Only org admins can connect integrations.
Before you connect: have these four values ready
| Credential | Where to find it in EasyEcom |
|---|---|
| Account email | The email address you sign in to EasyEcom with (an API-dedicated user is fine). |
| Password | That account's password. |
| Account token (location key) | Click your account name at the top right of the EasyEcom panel. The 13-character value shown as "Account Token". EasyEcom's API calls this the location key. |
| API key | Account Settings → Change credentials → Generate X-API-KEY. It can only be generated from the primary seller account. |
Connect
- Go to Settings → Integrations → OMS and choose EasyEcom.
- Enter the account email, password, account token, and API key.
- Honey Shelf validates the credentials with a live call before saving anything. The password and API key are stored encrypted and are never shown again.
What happens after connecting
- A 120-day sales backfill starts in the background, in 7-day slices. Sales appear progressively; at typical volumes it completes within the hour.
- Every day, Honey Shelf re-syncs the LAST 7 DAYS up to yesterday (in your organisation's timezone). Today's sales appear tomorrow — that is expected, not a fault.
- The 7-day re-sync exists because EasyEcom orders can be cancelled after they are invoiced. A cancellation is removed from the day the order was placed, even days later.
How a sale is counted
A sale counts on the date the order was PLACED, in your organisation's timezone. This is deliberate: EasyEcom's own reports lean on the manifest (dispatch) date, which lags placement by hours or days and understates demand for anything that ships in batches. Honey Shelf measures demand, so it uses the placed date — the same rule as the Shopify connection.
- Cancelled orders are excluded, and partially cancelled lines count only the units that were not cancelled.
- Returns are NOT deducted. A returned item was still demanded; deducting it would understate velocity.
- Every sales channel in EasyEcom counts — marketplaces, your Shopify store, and orders entered as "Offline". Tell us if your Offline orders are samples or replacements rather than sales.
- Stock transfers and production orders are not sales and are ignored.
Sales-source precedence: with an active OMS connection, EasyEcom becomes the ONLY source of sales data — it already includes your Shopify orders, so counting both would double-count. If Shopify is also connected, it stays connected for pushing inventory to your store and remains your stock source (see below).
Stock: finished-goods inventory from EasyEcom
If EasyEcom is your warehouse system and Shopify is NOT connected to Honey Shelf, EasyEcom is also your source of stock. Every night (01:20 UTC, before the velocity run) Honey Shelf pulls EasyEcom's sellable stock listing and SETS each product's available quantity to it, summing all sizes of a product. Every change is recorded as an inventory adjustment with the reason "oms_sync", so the audit trail stays complete. Reserved and planning-only quantities are never touched. The first pull is queued the moment you connect, and the Integrations card shows when stock was last synced.
EasyEcom's count is the truth. A Stage 6 shipment still adds to Honey Shelf's stock immediately, but the next nightly sync overwrites it with EasyEcom's figure — so record every receipt in EasyEcom too (Stage 6 has a "Download for OMS (CSV)" button for the packing list). Stock in Honey Shelf is "as of last sync": there are no intraday decrements for EasyEcom orgs.
- Mixed setups: if Shopify is connected as well, Shopify stays the stock source and EasyEcom stock is not pulled.
- A product that is archived in Honey Shelf but still has stock in EasyEcom is set to that stock — Reports → Data Health will flag it as archived-with-stock, which is correct: the stock exists.
- A SKU deleted or archived in EasyEcom disappears from the listing, so its Honey Shelf figure goes stale rather than to zero (a missing row is not the same as zero stock). Sell-outs ARE zero in the listing and sync to zero. The sync summary counts products with local stock but no EasyEcom row so you can spot these.
- Bundles (combo SKUs) are skipped — their component SKUs carry the stock. EasyEcom's virtual inventory (oversell buffer) is ignored.
- "Sync stock now" on the Integrations card runs the same pull on demand — at most once an hour and three times a day, to stay inside EasyEcom's API budget.
SKU matching
EasyEcom line items are matched to your Honey Shelf catalogue by the master SKU (case- and whitespace-insensitive). Per-size SKUs roll up to the parent product where the SKU scheme supports it. If your sync summary reports unmatched SKUs, contact support — matching can usually be extended to your scheme.
API usage
EasyEcom's default API tier allows 500 calls per day. Honey Shelf uses roughly fifty calls a day — about five for the sales sync and about forty-five for the nightly stock pull (one call per 150 variant rows) — plus about eighty for the one-time sales backfill, so the connection fits within the default tier alongside your other integrations. Manual stock syncs are capped (hourly and daily) for the same reason. If EasyEcom rate-limits a sync, that run is skipped: the next day's 7-day sales window catches up, and the next stock pull simply sets the current figures.
Troubleshooting
- Connect fails with invalid credentials: re-check all four values. The account token and API key are the two most often mixed up — the token is 13 characters, the API key is much longer.
- Connect fails as unreachable: EasyEcom answered but refused the orders request — usually API access is not enabled for the key. Ask EasyEcom support to confirm API access on the primary seller account.
- Sales look low for older dates: the 120-day backfill may still be running; check again later. Sales older than 120 days are not imported.
